Jalan Alor, where you can eat, is within walking distance to the hotel. Bus station is 20 minutes' walk;))

set only 500 metres away, dining in the dark kl is a wonderful place to eat nearby. the hotel was adjacent to jalan alor. rooms were tidy. pudu neighbourhood is worth looking into.
